My name is Melina, I am a Graphic Designer and Illustrator based in Berlin.
I am fascinated with Japan and I like to pick and to illustrate Japanese packaging of everyday life.
Working with Graphic Design, I have always admire the pop colourful Japanese Packaging design and as I was looking for an activity to get away from the screen, I started to illustrate some of them that catches my attention. I see it as a Studie Observation exercise.
Usually I use watercolor, gel pens and colour pencils to produce the Illustrations.
After receiving an advice from a good friend, I started to print my Illustrations on postcards, posters, stickers and T-shirts and the people reaction from it makes me happy.
